In today's show we bring you a historical overview of alternative views on HIV/AIDS, with a focus on a group of highly qualified scientists and health practitioners who dispute the core medical theory that HIV causes AIDS.

These HIV sceptics propose that the illness defined as AIDS is a false construct, based on belief in a retro-virus which has never been isolated in a live host, and has never been proved to be the cause of the myriad forms of illness which are lumped together as AIDS indicator diseases.

We bring you some clips from a new documentary which follows the history of the AIDS sceptics movement, "Positively False - Birth of a Heresy".

Also in today's show we look at the criminalisation of HIV exposure in a number of western countries and what that means for freedom and democracy. We take a look at a landmark case which will set a new legal precedent in the US for prosecutions of this nature.

In late February, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF) unanimously threw out a 2011 conviction against a US airman, Sergeant David Gutierrez of Kansas, for committing “aggravated assault” when exposing multiple sex partners to HIV at swinger parties in Wichita. According to defence attorney Kevin McDermott, the decision reversed a 25-year precedent that had allowed military personnel to be convicted of aggravated assault solely on the basis of a positive HIV test.

“The key to the decision was that the convicted airman was not accused of actually infecting anyone with HIV, only of having had sex with them after a positive HIV test, and his conviction was overturned because the US government could not prove that any of his acts were likely to transmit HIV to his partners. The second highest court in America has unanimously rubbished the myth that being found HIV positive makes someone an automatic risk to others.” - source

In the 2nd hour today we welcome back Craig Isherwood, secretary of the Citizen's Electoral Council. Craig brings us some news from a recent international conference orgainised by the CEC. A major theme of the conference was the rising influence of the BRICS countries in world politics and the impact this will have on Australia. In our interview Craig breaks all this down for our listeners.

In the first hour, we bring you an analysis of some of the anomolous air disasters which have occurred in recent years, with particular attention to certain shared characteristics which are hard to explain and suggest some shared underlying causes.

In today's show we look at Australias new metadata retention laws which cleared the Senate last week.

We examine the "special protections" for journalists which are built-in to the Act. We pose the question: why is there a limited exemption for journalists while other citizens including professionals like lawyers and doctors who handle sensitive data are not exempt? We further highlight the fact that these "special protections" have no force at all against ASIO investigations, thus making a mockery of the whole concept of protection.

It is true that  powers granted to the government under this Act are indeed a mere formalisation of the exising status quo, but this highlights the fact that spying on the population is now considered totally acceptable. Once this precedent is fully implemented in law we can expect those formalised powers to be increased over time, ultimately extending to social media use and web browsing history, for indeed this is merely another type of metatdata not specifically covered under the Act, but which is regularly accessed by intelligence services through a variety of covert means.

We also bring you a presentation from a security specialist which demonstrates the true extent of intrusion into our personal life regularly exercised by governments around the world. Some of this is made possible by "off the shelf" commercial software packages which have been sold to Australian authorities.

Viera Scheibner responds to recent media attacks on vaccine refusers

Categories: [ Vaccination, Viera Scheibner ]

Today we welcome back to the show Dr. Viera Scheibner, to reflect on and respond to recent ABC TV coverage on the subject of people who reject vaccines.

Our discussion today encompasses the history of vaccination propaganda and the way in which childhood diseases such as measles and mumps which were once seen as mild and a natural part of growing up are now presented as terrifying scourges on humanity.

As Dr. Scheibner notes, after mass vaccination campaigns epidemics often start among the vaccinated, and the infant mortality from whooping cough in particular is directly connected to the vaccination status of their parents, who no longer have the lifelong immunity conferred by getting the illness in childhood, and actually communicate the illness to their very young children.

The following illustrative quote is from the American Journal of Diseases in Children (1978)

We reviewed 400 bacteriologically confirmed cases of pertussis in infants and children during the past 18 years. Several changes in the epidemiology have occurred in the most recent six-year period. The incidence of whooping cough in children has decreased by at least 50%, but the proportion of cases occurring in infants younger than 12 weeks of age has doubled to 30% of all cases. Formerly most young infants acquired their illness from siblings or other children, but in the recent period adults in the household were the most common source of infection to neonates and young infants. This observation plus the increasingly high level of immunization in preschool and school-aged children suggest that young adults with waning immunity and mild illness are a major reservoir for transmission of pertussis to infants too young to be immunized.

Dr. Scheibner further describes studies from Sweden, which stopped giving whooping cough vaccine for 11 years from 1979. The outcome was that incidence of whooping cough in young children under one year of age dropped to zero. 90% of the incidence of the disease occurred between the age of 4 and 10, which is the least dangerous age range in which to contract the disease.

Categories: [ Anti terror Laws, Nanny State ]

In today's show we take a look at a number of changes to Australian law which drastically restrict freedom in the name of the "greater good".

Some of the topics considered include the new liquor laws, the new powers granted to Australia's intelligence service (ASIO), and new anti-terror laws which would allow whistle blowers and journalists to be jailed for ten years if they interefere in a designated "special intelligence operation". Any ASIO operation can be declared "special" and gives ASIO criminal and civil immunity.

We also look at the way in which draconian legislation, authoritarianism and systemic corruption are interlinked.

The deeper issues behind the David Hicks case

In March 2007 Australian David Hicks was convicted under US law on the single charge of "providing material support for terrorism". The successful prosecution of Hicks was a huge PR win for the Bush regime and the credibility of the whole "war on terror" and specifically the way in which suspected terrorists were being handled in Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay and various black sites around the world.

The fact that Hicks's conviction has now been reversed is a glaring indication that the legitimacy of the whole enterprise is in doubt, at the highest legal levels within the US.

In today's show we break down the core issues behind the conviction of David Hicks, and link the whole thing back to the grand deception of 9/11, without which, none of this would have occurred.

Also in today's show we look at some recent climate change data from the government, and a number of other issues of the day.

Google & NSA

In today's show we cover several very important topics. In the first hour we take a look at the ominous signs of a new global economic meltdown, the signs of which are a rocketing US dollar and spiralling deflation in other industrialised countries.

We bring you an extended recording of a recent press conference held in Geneva which documents truly chilling developments in the Assange / Wikileaks saga. During the conference it was revealed that Google Inc. secretly handed over to the US government the entire Google App profiles of a number of Wikileaks journalists. This means all email correspondence, all documents and all calendar entries. The journalists concerned only discovered that this had occurred a full two years after the fact. The seizure is relevant to an ongoing, secret campaign on behalf of the the US government to prosecute Julian Assange and Wikileaks, possibly under the espionage act. As the proceedings are secret however it is impossible to say just what the Wikileaks founder will eventually be charged with.

Thus we advise anybody who values privacy to completely abandon Gmail.

In the 2nd hour we welcome back to the show Stephanie Messenger. Stephanie is responsible for organising the now cancelled speaking tour of Dr. Sherri Tenpenny. In our discussion today Stephanie documents a chilling campaign of intimidation which was directed against both Dr. Tenpenny and the hosts of several venues where she had planned to speak. The threats included bomb threats and threats of physical violence. These terrorist threats were completely ignored by the mainstream media which instead cast Dr. Tenpenny in the role of some kind of threat to society, thus completely reversing the true facts about the matter.

State power Vs individual rights

Today we return to look at the vaccine debate from the perspective of the wider struggle of individual rights against encroaching state power. Does the collective have rights over the individual? Can the collective reasonably demand the sacrifice of the individual for the greater good? It would seem that the mainstream answer to this question is "yes".

We focus on a shocking case of 15 child deaths in Syria from an alleged "tainted vaccine" to highlight the very real threat posed by mass vaccination programs.

We also take a look at the media coverage of the Disneyland measles epidemic, and the way this is being used as a trigger to bring in a mandatory measles vaccine.

I was once an keen follower of Truth News, and was in the process of arranging to make regular financial contributions…but the show appears to be no longer consistent, nor able, for some reason, to keep up with events and current affairs. Once you could set your clock to the weekly program,  but now you can’t. Its been almost six weeks since the last broadcast, important events are happening in the world every day which are ignored. If the show was more consistent and we weren’t bombarded with U.S. advertisements (that have no relevance to Australians and are clearly there as punishment for those who have not financially contributed) I’m sure the show’s popularity would increase. But if it continues on its present trajectory, I fear it is doomed.  Such a pity.

Hello Hereward,
I have listened to this interview on many occasions and always become extremely irritable at the derogatory comments made by the ABC ‘re’ Andrew Wakefield.
I thus refer you and your listeners to a fabulous interview with Dr Wakefield, where he dismantles all the baseless allegations against him.  Sadly, it will never find the light of day on commercial media outlets.  Please share it as widely as possible with friends, family & associates. Re first hour that I have just enjoyed listening to.  Hereward Fenton’s wrap-up of diverse reported facts on the recent spate of unexplained airline disasters is a gripping tale. His integration of these facts into speculation about repercussions leading to a push for new pilotless technology (elimination of ‘human error’) is interesting IMO, but where will it all lead?  Such questions are valid reflection, not ‘conspiracy theory’.  Mainstream media don’t want ordinary people to reflect too deeply and so try to nip this in the bud through their mantra of “conspiracy theory”.  My subscription to TNRA is well worth it, because I am receiving a good “reflection service” by a commentator who is able to think the unthinkable unlike most people pacified by escapist free to air TV.  And the most unthinkable event in our lives to date is that 9-11 was an orchestrated event engineered by secret and unaccountable government agencies for obvious political and military purposes. Like, fascism.  Mainstream media won’t even entertain that thought!  But, to quote Aristotle, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it”.  And another quote from Aristotle for you Hereward.  It is about the human capacity for reflection, that you possess in abundance.  I remember learning of Aristotle’s idea that the most noble thing a man (as in hu-man) could do, was to reflect.  I think it comes from this of his quotes “The ultimate value of life depends on awareness and the power of contemplation rather than mere survival”.  I get paid for provision of ‘engineering services’ but this robs me of time for researching and reflecting on news stories like the ones on which you comment here. So I am very happy to subscribe. You are providing ‘reflection services’ and that is a noble profession in which you excel. thanks for the show!
