Is Julian Assange now a target of the CIA psyops department?

We bring you tonight the sordid tale of Julian Assange in Sweden: a saga of broken condoms, scorned women and character assassination, possibly directed from on high by unseen forces who are determined to destroy the whistle blowing organisation he founded.

After studying all the known facts it seems clear that Mr. Assange is definitely the victim in this sad affair, yet the media (including the “high-brow” broadsheets) continue to publish stories about Assange which prominently feature the word “rape”, while dredging up trivial gossip about his sex life.

‘An allegation has been reported all around the world’, Assange says of the continuing Swedish legal circus. ‘It’s at present on six million websites. In fact one in twenty websites mentioning the word rape also mentioned my name.’

This remains the case even though the leaked “rape” charge was almost immediately withdrawn, and no formal charges have been laid, and despite the disingenuous attempts of crooked journalists to dispel valid and justified suspicion that this is all a product of the CIA dirty tricks department.

The propensity of the global mainstream media to act in lock-step to publish baseless slander is something which must be confronted and exposed. It is tangible proof that there is a conspiracy of the powerful running things, shaping opinion and subverting democracy and the rule of law.

John Bursill on 9/11 truth, racism and politics

Tonight it is my pleasure to have John Bursill back on the show.

As well as being a passionate 9/11 truther and peace activist John also has a strong interest in indigenous issues and human rights abuses in Australia. Tonight he brings us the shocking story of a racially motivated killing which took place in the Northern Territory in 2009 - a story which has had little exposure in the media but clearly reveals the dark underbelly of racism in this country.

Kwementyaye Ryder, a 33 year-old Aboriginal man, was bashed to death by five young, local, white men as he walked home in the early morning hours of July 25 2009. The initial charges of murder were reduced to manslaughter and Chief Justice Martin, who had earlier criticised Aboriginal culture for not respecting the justice system, delivered sentences ranging from just twelve months to four years.

During the show we bring you, as usual, a variety of breaking news stories.

We cover in detail the bombshell story of an FBI whistle blower who has revealed new evidence about the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. The Kennedy assassination remains one of the most important unsolved crimes of the modern age, and the events provide a very interesting parallel with 9/11 in terms of the way an inside job was pulled off and then covered up through collusion between government and corporate media. The cover up was achieved largely by the framing of a patsy (Lee Harvey Oswald) which deflected attention away from a proper forensic investigation and provided the uncomprehending public with a convenient villain upon which to focus their rage and need for retribution.

The new evidence brought forward by retired FBI agent Don Adams adds to a mountain of evidence which conflicts with the official findings of the Warren Commission that Oswald acted alone in killing Kennedy.

TNRA is dedicated to getting vital information out to the widest possible audience, and in order to achieve our goals we sometimes need to use provocative techniques.

To this end, we are proud to launch the “Catherine Taylor project”. Catherine Taylor is the associate editor of ABC The Drum Unleashed - Robust community debate - one of the biggest online opinion websites in Australia.

I had the honour of writing an article on the 9/11 truth movement for Unleashed back in May 2008. The article achieved a record number of comments for the brief time it was open for comment. The moderators closed the discussion after only two days under pressure from trolls who claimed that there was a “campaign” at work. The ABC then immediately published two apallingly bad rebuttal pieces which you can find here and here. These articles are objectively devoid of journalistic merit and don’t engage with any single point raised in the original piece.

More than two years have gone by, and in that time the ABC has not published anything on the topic. The only time the topic has hit the media was in the re-broadcast of a shallow propaganda effort from the BBC titled “The Conspiracy Files“.

Samuel L. Jackson prepares for some finger chopping in Unthinkable.

Tonight’s show is packed with important information and contains audio snippets from a variety of news stories which hit the TNRA desk this week.

The featured image is a snapshot from the “torture porn” movie “Unthinkable“, which pitches the well worn cliché of a ticking time bomb and a suspect (white, muslim) who must be coerced into giving up information which will save millions of lives. When all the usual techniques fail (including chopping his fingers off) there is one last resort which does the trick… listen to the show if you want to find out the hideous truth.

A tale of Wikileaks and war propaganda

In tonight’s broadcast we take a critical look at the media circus surrounding the latest Wikileaks release.

Breaking with usual practice, the Wikileaks organisation have released their latest leaks directly through the mainstream press with simultaneous publications in The Guardian, Der Spiegel and the New York Times.

A disturbing outcome is that information in the leaked documents is being used by the media to incriminate Pakistan in the Afghan war.

The Pakistan connection was the top story on the BBC World News on the day the documents were released. The Pakistan Government is vehemently rejecting these accusations and a Pakistani government spokesperson said that the whole affair was an attempt to sabotage the US/Pakistan relationship. This comes at a time when the US is stepping up predator drone attacks against targets in Pakistan.

Clearly, there are multiple agendas at work here.

Psychiatrists gone wild: ‘psychosis risk syndrome’

Tonight’s show features two excellent interviews.

In the first half I am joined by Kim Cullen from the Citizens Committee on Human Rights to discuss the implications of ‘Australian of the Year’, Patrick McGorry’s plan for pre-drugging children with powerful psychotropic medication as a preventive treatment against mental illness.

Our discussion centers on a recent article authored by Jan Eastgate which gives insight into the impact of these policies in Australia.

As indicated in the following article from Psychology Today, this new medical label could lead to a staggering 90% misdiagnosis rate:

Even in the most expert of hands (ie in very highly selected research clinics), at least two of three people who get the diagnosis do not go on to become psychotic. Of great counterintuitive interest, the longer the research clinic operates the lower becomes its rate of correct identification. With time and spreading reputation, the clinic attracts increasingly heterogeneous referrals- so that it is more difficult to discriminate from among them those who are truly at risk for psychosis.

What would be the misidentification rate once the diagnosis became official and was applied in the real world? No one can say for sure, but two thirds is certainly a lower limit of misidentification. There are several reasons to believe that the ratio of wrong diagnoses would actually be much higher: 1)the raters in general practice would be much less expert than specialists in research clinics; 2) the “patients” would be closer to normal and harder to discriminate; and, 3)drug company marketing would influence parents and clinicians to be especially alert to any strangeness in teenagers. It has been estimated that the false positive rate would jump from about 70 percent in specialty clinics to about 90 percent in general practice. This means that as many as an astounding nine in ten individuals identified as “risk syndrome” would not really be at risk for developing psychosis.

Vaccine watchdog group accused of “crimes against humanity”

Our lead story tonight is the controversy over the Australian Vaccination Network, with its founder Meryl Dorey accused of “providing inaccurate and misleading information and selectively quoting research out of context to argue against vaccination”.

The controversy erupted into the public eye after an ABC Lateline report earlier this week in which Nobel prize winning immunologist Professor Peter Doherty says that “denying children vaccines is a crime against humanity”.

The accusations come from a report by The New South Wales Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC), which also found that the AVN harassed the parents of a child who died of whooping cough last year.

In the second half I am joined by Bronwyn Hancock of the Vaccination Information Service to analyze these developments.

At around the 30min mark we bring you a special presentation.

As the walls close in around us in this failed democracy we are witnessing a new type of political awareness which is spawning a myriad of groups whose common theme is upholding freedom against encroaching corporatist/globalist tyranny, and restoring universal principles of human rights to public discourse and policy making.

Tonight we welcome the leaders of 3 such political movements in Australia who are uniting under the banner of freedom.

Our guests tonight are:

We engage with some difficult questions in relation to a bill of rights and the core definition of democracy. We also look at whether it is possible for a democracy to serve the minority as well as the majority.
