As we go to air, the Wikileaks controversy continues to dominate the news, and we turn now to look at broader issues around the leaked material.
With the focus entirely on the personality and legal debacle of Julian Assange, the embattled whistle blower and arguably greater victim in all of this is PFC Bradley Manning, who has been locked in an isolation cell for the past seven months under extremely restrictive conditions which amount to torture. He is prevented from exercising in his cell and has been forcibly medicated with anti-depressants.
Bradley Manning is accused of being the source for the leaked Baghdad “Collateral Murder” video which thrust Wikileaks into the international spotlight in April 2010.
Meanwhile, there are ongoing questions regarding the integrity of Julian Assange because of his sweeping dismissal of 9/11 conspiracy theories. Here are his exact words as transcribed by Matthew Bell of the Belfast Telegraph on 19 July 2010: “I’m constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud.”.
Michel Chossudovsky has probed into the origins of Wikileaks and observes the following:
Wikileaks’ geopolitical focus on “oppressive regimes” in Eurasia and the Middle East was “appealing” to America’s elites, i.e. it seemingly matched stated US foreign policy objectives. Moreover, the composition of the Wikileaks team (which included Chinese dissidents), not to mention the methodology of “exposing secrets” of foreign governments, were in tune with the practices of US covert operations geared towards triggering “regime change” and fostering “color revolutions” in different parts of the World.
Today we welcome to the show veteran broadcaster and media professional Anthony Lawson to discuss these matters and more. Anthony recently posted a video on youtube highly critical of Assange, suggesting that “if Julian Assange did not already exist then the CIA and Mossad would need to invent him”. This viewpoint, which is shared by a variety of independent researchers, stems from the observation that the bulk of material leaked seems to prop up US foreign policy objectives while leaving Israel completely untouched.
Anthony pulls no punches in this interview, so fasten your seat belts folks!
It is our opinion nonetheless that the case of PFC Manning is a clear instance of a genuine whistle blower risking his career for the sake of transparency, justice and freedom.
Wishing you the very best of Christmases from the crew at TNRA, may we suggest you also visit the Bradley Manning support network where you can leave a donation for this brave young man.
During the show we take a detailed look at the legal questions surrounding the arrest of Julian Assange and the possibility of his being extradited to the US to face espionage charges.
As the show goes to air today Assange is due to appear in court to appeal for his release on bail. The legality of his detention is increasingly being questioned, since he has not actually been charged with a crime, but rather is wanted for questioning.
Lady Ludford MEP, the Liberal Democrat European justice and human rights spokeswoman, claimed the arrest warrant system, which she said she supported, was being used by Sweden to carry out a fishing expedition. Sweden had yet to formally charge Assange with any offence.
In a letter to the Guardian, Ludford wrote that past cases showed that it was “not a legitimate purpose for an EAW to be used to conduct an investigation to see whether that person should be prosecuted”. She added: “Normal cross-border cooperation on collection of evidence or interrogation of suspects called ‘mutual legal assistance’, using for example video-conferencing or a summons for temporary transfer of a suspect, should be used when more appropriate. “I urge the UK courts to refuse to allow the Assange EAW to be a fishing expedition without a pending actual prosecution. EU rules should be properly respected so that the integrity of the European arrest warrant process is protected.”

In the second half we take a look at issues in mental health and human rights affecting Australians.
Rochelle Macredie works for Oliveri Lawyers in East Sydney who practise in a variety of areas including criminal law, mental health advocacy, family law, commercial law, wills and probate, equity and involuntary vaccination matters. Rochelle can be contacted on the following numbers: 02 9360 3993 / 0407 896 832.
The first consultation is free.
In tonight’s show we delve once more into the controversy surrounding Julian Assange who now languishes in a “segregation unit” in London’s Wandsworth prison awaiting extradition to Sweden on “sex crimes” charges.
Earlier in the week Wikileaks experienced a concerted attack from its corporate service providers with Amazon, Paypal and VISA and a Swiss bank freezing funds and closing accounts.
Simultaneously, reports flooded in of massive denial of service attacks against these same organisations from a hacker group known as “anonymous”.
Despite death threats and calls from prominent US politicians for him to be declared an “enemy combatant” and/or charged with espionage offenses, Assange has been receiving strong support from a variety of surprising quarters including the Murdoch Press and former Australian PM Kevin Rudd.
Yesterday it emerged via Wikileaks that Labor senator Mark Arbib, instrumental in Rudd’s sacking as PM, has secret ties with the US embassy and had been feeding the US ambassador with inside information about leadership tensions within the party.
Is a revolution underway? Or is this merely part of a globalist frame-up to create an “internet 9/11″ to justify draconian changes to our internet freedoms?
Find out on tonight’s show!
We also report on the tense stand-off between North and South Korea as US warships head to the Yellow Sea in support of South Korea. Although the media largely reported the artillery strike as an unprovoked attack, it turned out that the South Korean army was conducting “drills” right near the border just before the attack.

In the second half we are joined by filmmaker Chris Emery to discuss various issues of the day, with emphasis on the ongoing human rights violations being conducted in the name of the “war on terror” in democratic nations.
The world’s largest pilot’s association has boycotted full-body scanners, while passengers have likened the new enhanced pat-down technique to “foreplay“. Indeed, the problem has got so bad that many air-travellers have now decided they would rather give up flying altogether than submit to these indecencies.
Tonight we bring you all the latest news from this unfolding debacle, including the hopeful signs that top legislators are now moving to have these violations of human rights legally abolished.
Also in tonight’s show we cover the latest incremental steps towards tyranny in Australia with new anti-terror amendments giving the police the ability to search your home without a warrant.
We also cover the Federal government’s last desperate push to ram a carbon tax down the throat of an increasingly uncooperative populace, and in doing so resorting to blatant bullying and direct threats, exemplified in a recent opinion piece by Julia Gillard in the Sydney Morning Herald titled “Carbon price now or we’ll pay later“.
Thanks for listening!
This is a very important interview which we urge you to share with as many people as possible.
FROM THE PRESS RELEASE:
Aussies appreciate and desperately want to grasp opportunities to Advance Australia for the benefit of every Australian, now and for the future. They want transparency, accountability and a common sense Government operating for them - not just the privileged few. In her newly published book, AUSSIES wanna KISS, author Rachel Emmes gives Aussies an eye-opening read that unveils answers to questions about the real story behind Australia’s economy, government, bureaucracy, and more. Alarming “Effects and their Causes” behind what is damaging the lives of Australians, Americans and people living in other democracies and how this can be turned around. She says, “Many of the concepts and ideas are not unique and are in fact timeless, proven methods. Common sense concepts which the majority of Australians want to see implemented and achieved by a government working for us”.
Rachel has an excellent grasp of the economic and political machinations which have led to our current crisis of democracy - but perhaps more importantly she has a positive outlook and wants to bring people together to bring about positive change.

Before 9/11 there was the Oklahoma bombing - a devastating terrorist attack which killed 168 people, including 19 children under the age of 6. The attack took place on April 19, 1995 and was quickly pinned on Gulf War veteran Timothy McVeigh who, it is said, planned and executed the attacks with the help of one other man Terry Nichols.
McVeigh was found guilty on eleven counts of murder and conspiracy and was executed by lethal injection on June 11 2001.
It was also claimed that McVeigh was a survivalist and anti-government constitutionalist, claims which would forever stamp such dissident groups with the taint of mass murder.
McVeigh wore a printed T-shirt with the motto of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Sic semper tyrannis (”Thus always to tyrants”, which was shouted by John Wilkes Booth immediately after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln) and “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants” (from Thomas Jefferson). - wikipedia
My guest today, Chris Emery, discusses his film “A Noble Lie” which exposes many of the inconsistencies and outright lies in the official OKC bombing story - one of the most glaring being the confirmed presence of multiple explosive devices in the building (see footage below).
A Noble Lie - Oklahoma City 1995
Noble Lie: a myth or untruth knowingly told by the elite to maintain social harmony, or the social position of that elite.
The 1995 bombing in Oklahoma City was a direct blow to the heart of America. 168 people were killed, including nineteen children. For years following the bombing, thousands of victims’ family members, survivors, rescuers, and ordinary Americans, have questioned the official explanation for that tragedy. Largely ignored by the government and censored by the mainstream media, these questions will not go away until history records the whole truth and justice is rendered for all.
A Noble Lie is the culmination of years of field research, interviews and investigative reporting conducted by independent journalists and ordinary citizens in their quest to find the truth. At times risking their lives and their sanity, the evidence they have uncovered threatens to blow the lid off of the official story of the bombing.
In today’s show we also cover a variety of breaking stories on climate change, terrorism and the Afghanistan war.
Julia Gillard has now gone on record in Federal Parliament saying that the substantive claims of the 9/11 truth movement are “stupid and wrong”, and tonight we bring you full story behind these developments.
Previously Kevin Bracken, who is the Victorian secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia and president of the Victorian Trades Hall Council, called in to ABC talkback radio in Melbourne to say that “the official story doesn’t stand up to scientific scrutiny”.
The radio host John Faine reacted with dismay and went on to call Mr. Bracken a “nutter” and an “extremist”. However it subsequently became clear that these views had been debated by the union and the Trades Hall Council and both bodies had passed motions on the issue. Nonetheless, the focus of media and political attention has been on Kevin Bracken at a personal level, which is clearly a smokescreen tactic to divert attention from the fact that there is a massive worldwide movement for a new inquiry into the 9/11 attacks.
BREAKING NEWS (21 Oct 2010): “Trades Hall president Kevin Bracken stands by his 9/11 conspiracy”
This morning Mr Bracken phoned into Faine’s program again for a right of reply.
He said he wasn’t phoning as the president of the Trades Hall council or as secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia.
Mr Bracken stood by his comments and said he had the support of 50 per cent of the community.
He also attacked Faine, claiming he was ridiculed on yesterday’s program.
“Unfortunately cowards like yourself have set the political agenda in this country for too long,” said Kevin Bracken.
“I won’t be cowered down to bullies like yourself.” - source
In tonight’s show we bring you a swag of other Australian news on a variety of topics which I’m sure you will find interesting.
We finish with a trailer for a forthcoming documentary on the 1995 Oklahoma Bombing (see below) made by Chris Emery, who we hope to have on the show next week.
UPDATE (22 October 5:30pm):
A Herald sun poll is showing that over 65% of respondents agree with Union leader Kevin Bracken’s view that the official explanation of 9/11 does not stand up to scientific scrutiny.
Imani Hekima joins in the second half for a discussion of his song-writing, and in particular his recently released single “Shame“, which addresses the issue of “honour killings”.
From Imani’s press release:
“Born and raised in the north of England, Hekima has developed a special penchant for alternative and socially aware songwriting. Over the past two years, the video for his track ‘The Robots Rebellion’ has been featured on the official websites of David Icke and the Conscious Media Network respectively.”
“Shame, which he wrote in 2008, has had an interesting journey. Originally telling the story of a woman whose life spirals into self destruction, its lyrical content (and title especially) also carries an uncanny double meaning, spookily relevant to honour crimes. So when he was approached earlier in 2010 to lend music to a video made by an anti-honour killings Facebook group, Shame was the most obvious choice.”
Our discussion gets into the subject of the importance of songwriting on society in general and our collective need for artists and poets to come forth and express painful truths which are often deliberately hidden by our would-be masters.
As always we cover the breaking news from our twitter stream and give our best shot at analysis of current events.
Today we speak with Toni Clancy, whose son Zac was snatched from day care by the Department of Community Services (DOCS) last March. Since then there has been no court hearing. While accusations have been laid by the DOCS case workers, there has been no legal process.
Toni believes one of the reasons why her son was taken is that she declined to take a course of anti-depressants.
Toni’s mother Linda has provided the following additional information:
The psychologist DoCS sent my daughter to put my her through assessment for anger management, borderline personality disorder and drug and alcohol dependency. Those three assessments came back that my daughter does not have an issue with any of them.
The drug and alcohol counsellor that Toni is attending at DoCS insistence claims that Toni does not have a drug or alcohol addiction, yet only two weeks ago I was told that Toni has difficulties with drugs and alcohol, which is one reason why they will not look at restoring Zac to his mother.
A mental health assessment done by our local mental health team stated that the only problem Toni has at the moment is that her son has been taken from her and the emotions she is feeling are appropriate to the situation.
Toni is attending regular sessions with a counsellor who also backs Toni in her attempts to get her son back.
Also in the show today we cover the latest developments in eco-fascism, with a discussion of a shocking video released by the environmental organisation 10:10. The video depicts children being gruesomely murdered for refusing to participate in carbon reduction measures. Although this is superficially presented as comedy, there clearly is a dark threat here, and one which should not be taken lightly.
The video has now been removed from the 10:10 website, but multiple copies remain on the internet.
WARNING: This video is extremely disturbing.
We also bring you the latest Nanny State developments, with the Gillard government threatening to fingerprint and electronically track all pokie players in a misguided attempt to curb problem gambling.
Thanks for listening!
