Lord Monckton on climate change fraud
Posted: January 27th, 2010

Today we are joined by Lord Christopher Monckton, British peer, mathematician, and former advisor to theĀ Prime Minister.
Lord Monckton, currently in Australia on a speaking tour, is one of the most outspoken and influential anthropogenic climate change sceptics, bringing a level of passion and intellectual rigour which is often missing in public debate. He is chief policy adviser to the Science and Public Policy Institute, a non-profit institute of research and education “dedicated to sound public policy based on sound science”.
Lord Monckton rose to prominence in the global warming debate with articles published in November 2006 disputing whether global warming is man-made, suggesting that it was unlikely to prove catastrophic, and criticising the science presented by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Lord Monckton also played a role in a 2007 UK High Court of Justice legal challenge in a bid to prevent the Al Gore film, “An Inconvenient Truth” being shown in English schools without offering alternative, balancing opinions. He was involved in distributing the documentary, “The Great Global Warming Swindle” to schools as a riposte.
During the interview Lord Monckton recounts the reasons why he came to be an anthropogenic climate change sceptic, in the context of his experience as a policy advisor to former PM Margaret Thatcher. He goes on to enumerate some of the more egregious lies and distortions made by the IPCC scientists and then turns to look at the anti-democratic agenda of the politicians and business leaders who he describes as corporate fascists. These interests, he asserts are striving to create a dictatorial, unelected world government which will oppress and exploit ordinary working people on a global level.

WAIT TILL 20/20 PLEASE
I would like RUDD or EMPLOYEE to stop spending our money on Global warming as we are still developing our nation and we wouldn’t even see a significant difference for the money we are spending and by the way has any body taken into account that the manufacturing of these extra products mandated for our homes like insulation and solar panels ect create pollution to manufacture and that most of the world will still burn coal even if we change
SIMPLY GIVE OUR ECONOMY AND BREAK AND WAIT AND SEE IF GLOBAL WARMING DOES REALLY EXIST

I would have to agree with Bursill, not that Hereward and John don’t provide informative commentary on their own.
It’s great that Monckton had decided to give our illegitimate rulers a hard time about anthropogenic global warming and hopefully stop yet more transfer of wealth to the rich and decrease of freedoms.
It’s good that he found time for this podcast with what I assume is a small listenership.

Its good to see some opposition in parliament now thanks to Tony Abbott, with real plans to help the environment. So glad they got rid of that fake Liberal Turnbull. Like Monckton said this current government is poison. Rudd is a fascist, Marxist, poison who this year along with Wong and Conroy need to be removed from power before they sell Australia out.

Labor and Liberal are one party pretending to be two Damian, Abbott was only scoring political points as it turned out and still buys the global warming hype. He wants to throw away an awful lot of taxpayer money in this hard economic time with his own plan to cut CO2 emissions.

Keep up the good work guys.
Was reading the Sunday Telecrap (Sunday Agenda section) today (7/2/2010) and there an article/opinion by Cardinal George Pell saying that he looked up and noticed that CO2 and Global temperatures were higher during the medieval period and that the world is cooling.
Good to see that the ‘mainstream’ media is showing more of the other side of the debate and that other figure heads questioning the theory.

I still believe there are some good people in politics Mark. There is good and bad in all things. I especially like Barnaby Joyce. Just moving from a farming area myself I have seen how they are losing control of the lands in the country (note to T.N.R to do a story on this). Barnaby is out there being a voice meeting with farmers and going against the norm. Maybe Mr Abbott just can’t say straight out “I don’t believe in Global Warming” because the media and the people asleep will cut him down. He has to be seen doing something. As a owner of 2 companies I am glad at lest one major party is stopping the ETS and coming up with a fair idea. We can’t stop everything Mark but at lest we can control some things.

Did anyone listen to the live debate yesterday with the Lord and Tim Lambert (a UNSW Computer Scientist)? It was on the SMH site.
It was a good debate from both sides and the only one in aust while Monckton is here. He corrected Monckton on a few occasions and said to check his blog for the details of his correction.
Not sure if you can find the video any more.
Here is Tim Lambert site.

More good work, Hereward.
Well done.
I know it would have been off topic and
un-proffesional, though I was dying to
hear you ask this man of conscience a question on 911 and how IT has effected
our democracy.
