Interview with Syrian Girl

My guest in the 2nd hour of today's show is activist and vlogger Mimi Al-Laham, better known as "Syrian Girl" on youtube. Mimi has been posting videos for some time highlighting the deceptions in the mainstream media coverage of the Syrian conflict.
Our conversation ranges from questions about the true causes of the insurgency which is now tearing Syria apart, and the bigger picture of the relations between Syria, Iran and Russia and the aggressive agenda of domination and exploitation being conducted across the Middle East by Western powers under the cover of "humanitarian intervention".
My guest in the first hour is Damon Crowe and our topic is the Apollo Moon landings - real or faked? Damon has done extensive research into some of the unanswered questions about the Apollo Moon missions which I am sure you will find stimulating.

International news and analysis with George Georgios
Today's show covers a variety of both local and international news with our in-studio guest Georgios.
Some of the topics covered include developments in the Assange stand-off in London, and a final ruling in the protracted civil lawsuit over the death in Gaza of activist Rachel Corrie.
We also take a look at a new video from Koozzoo Media, analysing a disturbing practice known as "carbonising land" which is being conducted under the current carbon taxing scheme in Australia.
Our scheduled interview with Syrian Girl was unfortunately cancelled, however we hope to have her on the line during the next show.

Public grief over deaths of 5 Australian soldiers is an occasion for propaganda
5 Australian soldiers killed and the media/government oligarchy are engaging in a paroxysm of fake grief - really just a form of propaganda.
Obama kills dozens of innocents in drone attacks every week and the media doesn't give a rat's backside.
They talk about "rogue attacks" as if this is some aberration which has no rational explanation, when in fact this is only to be expected since we invaded and occupied a sovereign nation. The current Afhhanistan government is a puppet regime, propped up by a combination of military force and copious amounts of money. It will fall in the end, like all imperial puppet governments have in the past.
A time may come when we are invaded and occupied - if the US empire retreats from our shores and we are left all alone as a western nation at the bottom end of Asia.
I wonder how much mercy we will get from our conquerors then?
Group discussion on free speech, Wikileaks and Julian Assange
Today's show is cram packed with discussion, analysis and interviews.
In the first hour we have a four way discussion between the host, Hereward Fenton, Leon Pittard of Fair Dinkum radio and regulars John Bursill and Josh Jackson.
The topic of our discussion is the current stand-off between Julian Assange and the British government, and what this says about free speech in the modern age.
In the second hour John Bursill returns to give us an in depth briefing on the Julia GIllard AWU scandal.
In the second half of the second hour, my guest is Matt Turner from Skinwalkers Band. Matt is passionate and articulate about things that matter - a great interview, not to be missed!
I hope you enjoy the show.

Julian Assange in the crosshairs

Today's show focuses on the stand-off between Julian Assange and the British government. The news about his acceptance by Ecuador had not yet broken as we went to air.
We also take a look at the science-fiction level totalitarian surveillance system known as "TrapWire", amid speculation that this invasive technique of "crime prevention" may be already in use in Australia. We note that all copies of an article on the topic (originally published in the Fairfax press) have now abeen deleted. The original article can still be found here, courtesy of Fair Dinkum Radio.
Other themes addressed in the show include the escalating rhetoric of war against Iran, the Australian nanny state, and a look at the a testimonial regarding the alternative cancer cure known as "black salve".

Interview with Dr. Tim Ball
In the second hour of today's show we bring you a unique interview with one of Canada's most articulate and distinguished climate sceptics, Dr. Tim Ball.
Dr. Ball, former Professor at the University of Winnipeg, has an extensive science background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition with additional experience in water resources and areas of sustainable development, pollution prevention, environmental regulations and the impact of government policy on business and economics.
Dr. Ball is the author of Slaying the Sky Dragon - Death of the Greenhouse Gas Theory.
Our discussion ranges from the core questions about CO2 and anthropopegic climate change, into diverse areas, such as population growth, peak oil and sustainability.
Dr. Ball also provides insights into some of the key figures behind the IPCC such as Maurice Strong, who convened the first international expert group meeting on climate change.
Also in the show today we bring you news and commentary on a variety of hot topics from around the world.

All that is Necessary for Evil to Triumph
This clip is from the film "Hitler: The Rise of Evil".
It is often said, "all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing".
As a follow up, we might add: "History seldom repeats, but it often rhymes".
Once again, freedom is under threat. Evil is rising.
What are YOU doing about it?
Australians For Syria Protest in Sydney
On 5 August 2012 a rally was held in Sydney in support of the Syrian government by members of the Syrian community and Australians.
Some four thousand people gathered peacefully at The Sydney Town Hall to express solidarity about the tragedy in Syria.
A number of speakers, from various sections of the community, addressed the audience concerning the external forces that have invaded Syria and are fighting the elected democratic government.
The people then marched peacefully to The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs in the Sydney city area, where more speakers addressed the people.
Appreciation for Russia and China voting against the US proposed UN-NATO involvement were expressed. The meeting then peacefully dispersed.
MullerGate: a muddled professor who meddled with the media
In today's show we bring you our exclusive exposé of the latest climate science scandal.
Richard A. Muller is a professor in physics at UC Berkeley and a faculty senior scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is the founder of the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project, and co-author of a paper which, he asserts, demonstrates that global warming is real and "humans are almost entirely the cause".
The claims made by Muller have already been challenged from many different sources, including Anthony Watts and Muller's co-author Judith Curry, but the real bombshell was the revelation that Muller et al's paper which purportedly "proves global warming" had been rejected twice by the Journal of Geophysical Research.
Despite this, Muller has engaged, as reviewer Ross McKitrick puts it, in a "media blitz", promoting the conclusions contained in the (rejected) scientific paper. Muller's weighty conclusions were dutifully regurgitated by the New York Times, The Guardian, and our own Sydney Morning Herald.
Since McKitrick's revelations surfaced however, something funny has happened to the SMH article. The article published (and printed) under the title "How I saw past the hot air on climate" has apparently been pulled, although it is still indexed in Google.
Could this be because Muller's credibilty went down the gurgler?

Would you like to help TNRA reach out to a wider audience?
Do you like TNRA? Would like to help us make TNRA better, stronger and more effective? If the answer is yes, read on!
There are some areas we need help with, which I have listed below. These may require some basic technical skills and knowldge of online editing environments.
- Youtube Uploads - it would be great if every show could be posted on our Youtube account. The account is currently not length-restricted, so there is no need to cut the files into chunks. Instead you would create Youtube time markers, which allow users to quckly get to the section they are looking for.
- Documentation - as an enhancement to the Youtube posts, it would be great if each section of the show could be briefly documented. Ideally these notes would be associated with Youtube time markers and placed in the Youtube description field.
- Original Content - Would you like to write a regular article for TNRA? If you would like to write for us we can set you up with a blog which will have a dedicated URL (as well as appearing on the main page of the site). All original content would be correctly attributed to you and you would retain all rights to that material.
- Social Networking - we currently have Twitter and Facebook accounts. It would be great to have more admins posting quality links on these channels. It would also be great to have someone create and maintain TNRA accounts on other social networks like Google + or anywhere else you think is worthwhile.
- Producer - would you like to help arrange interviews and provide suggestions about potential interview subjects? The process of arranging interviews includes, 1) contacting a subject, 2) negotiating a suitable time, 3) locking in the exact time, making sure to include correct time zone calculations, 4) emailing all recipients, and sending reminders.
If any of these jobs look interesting to you please let me know via the contact page of this website or by email.
I would of course love to be able to pay for these services, but for now that is not possible. Your help will be greatly appreciated and in the event that we do move to a profitable commercial basis you will be at the front of the queue for some financial remuneration!
(: Hereward

I am using Google. That does not alter the facts though.
By all means, check them out for yourself - instead of just attacking the messenger!
Here is a selection of papers and studies about supersaturation and contrails. Are they all ‘dubious’? Do you have any new data that these scientists didn’t have? I’m sure they would accept new findings if the evidence is good.

No, I don’t. Obviously depth perception is not the only component of visual determination of distance.
However, you made the specific claim that “the chemtrails were at about 10,000 by observation, by three people, of detail in three dimensions, not two.”
You can’t perceive an object in three dimensions in 17 km distance with your bare eyes.
I quoted the study from 2010 that had the limit at 164 m. Do you have better data?

For those who wish to view the photographs taken this afternoon, Tuesday 4-12-2012 at Newmarket, Brisbane at about 18:30 hours of a high flying aircraft spraying a chemtrail to the south of Brisbane please go to

I suspect that the deniers will have some wonderful stories to tell, especially those who weren’t there, about how they “know” it is not a chemtrail and that it would be pilots having fun or some such other rubbish, but I can tell you that there are no holding patterns in that area and farmers tell me that they see the same activities, and at lower altitudes, frequently. Cheers,

Josh, I am now quite sure that you are not just out of your depth, but in way over your head. You are inferring that we were never able to estimate our range properly when using SLR’s and M16’s by visual means and all our successes must have been good luck. You need to do some training and get some experience rather than reading the Internet. You could also probably, if you joined the Army and learned a few more things, get some practical working knowledge of mini range finders which are small in size for portability and not as large as the Artillery use, and not much wider than the distance between our eyes. Are you saying that target drops at 1,000 metres, using eyeball estimation, were all good luck? Experience brings with it good judgement and estimation. Nothing you have raised so far gives me any confidence that you actually know what you are writing about, and are just making it up as you go from information searched out on the Internet. You don’t seem to have anything of substance, i.e the crap about supersaturation you either got from some dubious web-site or manufactured yourself, among other things. You deny the existence of chemtrails, so now come up with some good solid evidence to prove your averment. Your claims about the photographs I took amount to very little so far because you are guessing and attempting to cover your lack of knowledge with what amounts to bullshit. My detector almost goes into overdrive when I read each of your succeeding posts. Give me something solid to discuss with you instead of trying to bullshit your way through.
Some of your claims are immature slights upon professional pilots who spend their careers estimating distances in the sky around them and for navigation purposes, and quite safely dare I say. You also slight professional soldiers who do what you claim they can’t by way of everyday ops. You can also note down that we pilots do not carry range finders with us to determine distance to targets, we do it with our eyes.
We have just returned from a trip to the supermarket at Newmarket and upon exiting we noticed an aircraft spraying a chemtrail to the south of Brisbane in a large loop across the sky at high altitude with the only loud in sight being an approaching front promising rain again tonight as we had last night. Dollars to peanuts we get no rain tonight because the front will dissipate. I will post the photographs we took quite soon and no doubt you and other deniers will have some vapid reasoning to offer. Maybe pilots skylarking or some-such in their million dollar airborne mopeds? The only problem with those excuses for it is that farmers tell us that around the Kingaroy and associated areas they have very frequent occurrences of the same spraying and they have found that the chemicals that end up on their paddocks are destroying the micro flora and fauna in their soil. Consequently it gets harder to grow the food that the careless who live in the city, who are so dumb they cannot see what is happening around them because they have so much faith in their choice of politicians that they don’t believe the pollies would do anything to harm them, get to buy and eat. Ho hum, whilst the dumb ignore, the silent violence against them continues.

Correction of last post - should have read:
No, you can’t tell the distance of an object at least 17 km away by using your stereoscopic depth perception. Unless you are indeed using an optical rangefinder. Did you?

“our eyes are stereoscopic and we use the same principle in range finding equipment.”
Both true, but what I tried to get accross was that the stereoscopic view is limited.
This paper (from 2010) says:
http://ww.journalofvision.org/content/10/6/19.full
They have corrected earlier findings that had determined the limit of stereoscopic depth perception as 44.1 m.
That’s the reason why optical rangefinders are increasing the parallax:

Good one Josh, you keep digging yourself further in with each response and somewhere down the track you will make the realisation of how juvenile your claims really are. Lets dispense with a couple of your claims. Firstly you seem to very slow because you haven’t yet picked up that I was writing about a chemtrail, not a contrail and applied the well known facts, it’s just that these facts are either not known to you or you simply ignore them.
Secondly you seem to be confused about parallax (there is no “e” on the end) error. There is no such error involved in this exercise, i.e. because it does not involve the angles required for that description, and for a surprise bit of enlightenment for you, our eyes are stereoscopic and we use the same principle in range finding equipment. Triangulation is used for exact measurement and that cannot be done from a two dimensional photograph, you can only estimate, and with a whole lot less accuracy that we three did on the day in question.
“You simply cannot determine the distance of a remote object that you don’t know the size of.” This little gem of yours is just plain ordinary, unsophisticated bullshit of the truly common kind and you know it.
As for your next posting, what a crock you have presented here. You should read what people write before commenting so foolishly. I wrote that I have seen the air, not condensate in the air, but the air itself. I am reasonably sure that you have never been at FL280 (28,000 feet) cruising at a Mach number in your glider. The flowery bits about “beautiful” trails kind of enhance your innocence somewhat as cruising at 28,000 feet on a day clear of cloud does not induce any kind of airframe “trails” close to the aircraft.
I suggest you stop trying to prove to yourself, and us, that you are an aviation guru of some kind, and get into some proper discussion and dispense totally with the bullshit, both you and Hereward.

Cheers Josh,

Sounds like aerodynamic trailing to me. I have seen it several times when sitting in an airliner during final approach, mostly when the flaps were out and the weather was humid.
I’ve also seen it occasionally on the wingtop of my glider, also in wet/humid conditions.
Sudden pressure changes along the wing profile may cause spontaneous condensation. This can make for some beautiful trails:

“the prefix ‘Cirro’ should give you the clues about their altitude”
So, with Cirrocumulus, you determine the altitude by taking into account the well known facts about this type of cloud.
Why are you not doing likewise with contrails?
You also said:
“the chemtrails were at about 10,000 by observation, by three people, of detail in three dimensions, not two.”
It’s not possible to get a three-dimensional view of an object in this distance. The parallaxe as seen by bare eyes is too small (eye distance ranges from 2-3 inches). That’s why you need triangulation.
You simply cannot determine the distance of a remote object that you don’t know the size of.
You can determine the altitude of a jet if you take a picture with a known (and sufficient) zoom factor, and you know the type of aircraft:

Josh Anonymous,
This is becoming fun, duelling with slow people.
Do you even know what CC are? Have you ever flown through CC? Would you expect turbulence when flying through CC? Would you expect airframe icing in CC? Rime or clear ice? How are they formed and what are they composed of? Google it boy or get an experienced buddy to help you find the answer.
As I wrote when I posted the part about the photographs, the fair weather CU were at about 8,000 feet and the chemtrails were at about 10,000 by observation, by three people, of detail in three dimensions, not two. The CC, and the prefix “Cirro” should give you the clues about their altitude, were well above the chemtrails and therefore well above the fair weather CU.
Take a look at these videos;

and

and remember you are obviously out of your depth.
You do not seem to comprehend that supersaturation cannot occur, as it is physically impossible, in the free atmosphere, because you cannot pressurise the free atmosphere. The best way to understand supersaturation is to understand that a soda syphon, pressurised with carbon dioxide gas for the serving of mixed drinks, an inert gas that is 1.5 times heavier than air (the main reason why the claims about global warming, claiming that carbon dioxide, CO2, permeates the atmosphere excel in pure bullshit) is pressurised with CO2 as are carbonated soft drinks. The term “carbonated” should give you a clue or two.
You really should consider stopping your attempts to convince others that chemtrails do not exist, as the evidence outweighs your puny offerings. However, keep coming back for more if you are insistent, and ask for assistance at any time, but my best advice to you is to actually consider discussing this with myself and others on this faux web-site, rather than attempting to convince others of your oracle like abilities, which, sadly seem to be lacking.
As you would like us to believe that you know quite a bit about aviation and meteorology, can you tell me what you think when I tell you that I have seen air? I mean actually seen the air outside an aircraft window. Not an illusion, but the actual air flowing over the wing. Other captains have seen the same so it is not an unknown phenomena.
Best of luck in your endeavours, but don’t try to con me, I have a built-in bullshit detector that works very well.
