What do you get when a wannabe imperialist invents a war to get out of trouble at home, straying into deep waters that he neither controls nor understands, getting embroiled in an internecine tribal conflict that spins out of control? The answer to this question is the place where the UK’s David Cameron finds himself now: a 2-bn. pound nightmare.

Not so many months ago, we had David Cameron and William Hague declaring that the Libya Question was “not about removing Gaddafi” and that all it would take would be an immediate ceasefire from the Libyan Armed Forces. Not so many months ago we had David Cameron and William Hague declaring that the war would cost in the region of 200 million pounds, that there would be no NATO boots on the ground and that NATO would not arm the “rebels”.

What they did not tell us was that the French and Americans had been planning this imperialist little adventure for years--

What they did not tell us was that the rebel flags had been ordered well in advance from a British company--

What they did not tell us was that the entire operation was indeed to remove Colonel Gaddafi, not because he posed any threat to his “rebels” (after all, what do you do when tens of thousands of marauding thugs armed with machine guns take to the streets, decapitating Negroes, chanting racist slogans, promising to ethnically cleanse Libya of Negroes, torching government buildings, raping and killing women and children and destroying public and private property?)

They knew that the decision “to go in” had been taken long before the rebels strafed their own position to blame Colonel Gaddafi. They knew that their own media had been spreading lies about the Libyan Air Force bombing civilians – the one bombing civilians is NATO.

We saw the British reaction in draconian measures – when a few hundred bored schoolkids ran amok in August. One wonders whether Cameron would simply have given up and walked away from Number Ten Downing Street if they had been armed, or if someone had done to his youth what he did to Libya’s.

What they did not tell us was that this entire charade is about removing Colonel Gaddafi from power because his humanitarian and developmental projects in Africa and his plan to launch a gold-based currency, the Gold Dinar, would be too costly for selfish western interests.

What Cameron and Hague did not tell you is that their forces are to spend seven times more of the British tax-payers’ money than they originally admitted – nearly two billion, or two thousand million or 2,000,000,000 pounds… on what?

I will tell you.

• They have strafed the Libyan water supply (war crime) to “break the back of the population”
• They have targeted the electricity grid (war crime)
• They have targeted private homes (war crime)
• They have taken out civilian structures with military equipment (war crime)
• They have murdered children (war crime, and they did not even apologise)
• They have targeted civilians (war crime).
• They then held a conference in Paris to divide up Libya’s assets.

What they have also not told you is that the Libyan Armed Forces are largely intact.

What they have not told you is that parts of Tripoli still fly the Green Flag (symbol of the Jamahiriya, the democratic government which Muammar al-Qathafi advises). What they do not tell you is that there are still green Marches in Benghazi.

What they do not tell you is that Mahmoud Jibril dare not enter Tripoli.
They do not tell you where Jalil (the number 2) came from.
They do not tell you the background of the TNC.
They do not tell you the tribes have voted for Gaddafi.

They do not tell you that the crack desert fighters.the Tuareg, who decide who crosses the desert and who does not, have sided with Muammar Gaddafi against the TNC.
They do not tell you that the Loyalists in Libya include the hearts and minds of the Libyan population whether or not they are taking up arms against the terrorists.
The NATO special forces and this scourge have frightened many into cowering in their homes - but this does not spell support, even tacitly.

They do not tell you they indeed have NATO boots on the ground, breaching UNSC resolutions. They have indeed armed the “rebels” (another breach of UNSC resolutions), and they have indeed employed mercenaries – hundreds of thousands of them (a huge breach of UNSC resolutions).

They have not told you that NATO and its terrorists have suffered defeat after defeat in recent weeks, are unable to enter Bani Walid, are unable to enter Sirte and the only tactic that remains open is by carpet-bombing any areas of resistance, including homes, hospitals and schools to bomb the terrorists in.

Is that noble? It is a war crime.

It is an act of terrorism and David Cameron and William Hague, along with their French friend Sarkozy and that American in the White House, are using YOUR hard-earned money to perpetrate this outrage, which is sure to cost the UK thousands of jobs as retaliatory measures kick in across Africa.

Sorry Mr. Templeton, we do not have any money for your mother’s cancer treatment, I am afraid she will have to die; sorry Mr. Johnson, there is no more funding for your son’s leukaemia treatment, we do have palliative care, do you know what that is? And as for your now hospital wing, new school, new clinic, a raspberry in your faces as Cameron and Hague stick the middle finger to their own people.

How long does David Cameron think the British population will accept it all with their heads bowed, like a sickening herd of sheep?

According to a theory advanced by a SINTEF materials scientist, a mixture of water from sprinkler systems and molten aluminium from melted aircraft hulls created explosions that led to the collapse of the Twin Towers in Manhattan.

Just before the two New York skyscrapers collapsed on September 11, 2001, powerful explosions within the building could be heard, leading many people to believe that overheated steel beams in the building were not the cause of the collapse.

The explosions fed the conspiracy theories that someone had placed explosives inside the towers.

At an international materials technology conference in San Diego, the audience heard senior scientist Christian Simensen of SINTEF Materials and Chemistry (picture) present an alternative theory based on the physics of materials of what happened in the towers when they were attacked by the aircraft. The SINTEF researcher believes that his theory is much more likely to reflect the actual situation than the official explanation of the collapse.

In the wake of the conference Simensen had an article published in the journal "Aluminium International Today", describing his theory.

Explosive meeting of molten aluminium and water

Simensen believes that it is overwhelmingly likely that the two aircraft were trapped inside an insulating layer of building debris within the skyscrapers. This leads him to believe that it was the aircraft hulls rather than the buildings themselves that absorbed most of the heat from the burning aircraft fuel.

The SINTEF scientist believes that the heat melted the aluminium of the aircraft hulls, and the core of his theory is that molten aluminium then found its way downwards within the buildings through staircases and gaps in the floor – and that the flowing aluminium underwent a chemical reaction with water from the sprinklers in the floors below.

“Both scientific experiments and 250 reported disasters suffered by the aluminium industry have shown that the combination of molten aluminium and water releases enormous explosions,” says Simensen.

“Explosions demolished the towers”

Simensen continues: “I regard it as extremely likely that it was these explosions that made the skyscrapers collapse by tearing out part of the internal structure, and that this caused the uppermost floors of the buildings to fall and crush the lower parts. In other words, I believe that these were the explosions that were heard by people in the vicinity and that have since given life to the conspiracy theories that explosives had been placed in the skyscrapers.”

Practical use

“Could your theory be used to protect human life and material values if other skyscrapers are ever hit by large aircraft?”

“Yes, as a matter of fact it could. One lesson is that we could develop means of rapidly emptying sprinkler systems in the floors under the point of impact. Another possibility would be to fire in a rocket carrying a fire-retardant that would overlie the aircraft body and prevent the metal alloy from becoming overheated.”

Day of unreality

It was in the morning New York time on September 11, 2001, when two Boeing 767 passenger planes flew into the World Trade Center’s “Twin Towers” in Manhattan in New York. One hour later, WTC2 collapsed, followed after half an hour by WTC1.

Neighbouring buildings were bombarded by flying debris when the towers collapsed. The 47-storey skyscraper called 7 World Trade Center also caught fire and collapsed several hours later at 17.20.

On this sad anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in post-war history I am reminded of the prophetic words spoken by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in his farewell address to the nation in 1961: “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist”.

Eisenhower was the supreme commander in western Europe who had led America to victory against one of the most evil regimes in history, a man who had witnessed the depths of human depravity, and wanted finally to warn us that the war machine which had been created to defend freedom in WWII could equally be used for the opposite purpose, and that it was up to the American people to guard against this possibility.

Eisenhower coined the phrase “military industrial complex” which became the catch-cry of the anti-war movement of the 1960s, describing an economic and political fusion of power involving armaments manufacturers, construction companies, banks, democratic governments and puppet dictatorships.

As Marine Major General Smedley Butler put it, “War is a Racket”. In his seminal book on the subject Butler declares, “I spent 33 years in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints.”

These and other observations about the racketeering, lying and theft that is the essence of war have informed many of us around the world who today call ourselves “9/11 truthers”.

The central argument of the movement is that 9/11 was a staged, false flag operation designed to propel the US and its allies into war for the sake of profit, oil and empire. False flags are defined in Wikipedia as “covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities”.

There are numerous examples in modern history where clandestine government agencies or rogue operatives have acted in this way, collaborating in the hatching of staged terrorist plots, the launching of self-inflicted military assaults to be blamed on the enemy, and in the formation of domestic terrorist organisations.

There is not enough space here to address these complex cases, but I encourage the reader to do an internet search on phrases like “false flag”, “strategy of tension”, “operation gladio”, “operation northwoods”, “attack on the Maine”, “Gulf of Tonkin incident”, “reichstag fire”, and “the power of nightmares”, to find historical precedents which have a chilling resemblance to the events and aftermath of 9/11.

Some readers may be indignant at the suggestion that a modern democracy would permit its military arm to sacrifice innocent citizens for the sake of a political, economic or military imperative. If you are one of those people then I’m sorry but you have some hard lessons to learn. Use the search terms above and you will discover that I am not lying . You will find this information confirmed by many scholarly sources, and in some cases by impeccably researched BBC documentaries.

Tonight I am joined by Josh Jackson as we go through some of the 9/11 anniversary news for the week. In particular we look at the new BBC hit-piece 9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip, which is looking more and more like an attempt to brainwash a group of young people into accepting the official 9/11 story. This production features Charlie Veitch who famously did an about turn on the subject after the filming of this show.

Here is a snippet from the BBC's own description:

Andrew Maxwell, a comedian, believes in the findings of the official investigation, which claim the responsibility for the attack lies with Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. He thinks the conspiracies theories are unsubstantiated nonsense. So in this film he offers to take five young Brits, who believe some of these conspiracy theories, on a road-trip from New York to Washington. They visit Ground Zero where two planes hit the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, home of vast American defence HQ and Shanksville in Pennsylvania where United 93 crashed.

We also take look at Triple J's lame attempt to discredit 9/11 truthers, which dishonestly claims to be "exploring alternative viewpoints".

In the final segment we play a short snippet from John Bursill's recent debate of 9/11 questions on Sydney's 2GB radio.

John Bursill was on one of the biggest radio shows in the country yesterday, debating Mike King from the UK on the the subject of 9/11.

Tonight we report on the latest carbon protest which took place in Marrickville, in inner Sydney today. We are joined during the show by Anne Easby who was at the protest and who filed this report earlier today:

Five hundred people marched on Anthony Albanese's office today to protest about his insult to the Convoy of No Confidence on 22 August 2011.  The rally and march were organised by Consumer and Taxpayer Association Jacques Laxale, as a result of public outrage after Mr Albanese, the Member for Grayndler, called the Convoy "the Convoy of No Consequence" during question time while the protest was underway. 

Mr Albanese is the Federal Labor Member for Grayndler, the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Leader of the House and his comments were reported by the media across Australia. The Gillard Government laughed at Mr Albanese's comments and an emboldened Kelvin Thompson, Labor MP for Wills in Victoria, later called the Convoy "the convoy of incontinence" after he'd seen a two Winnebagos and a caravan parked near Parliament House.  At no time did any member of the Government walk 200 metres across the road to meet with the Convoy to hear their grievances.

The well behaved but very vocal crowd marched down Marrickville Road behind the 'death of democracy' coffin, carrying various signs and armed with megaphones, Australian flags and inflatable toy hammers.  People of all ages and many nationalities joined in the call for a new election, to stop the carbon tax and Government waste.  Many were angry about the Government's mishandling of the Malaysian solution, the direct threat to News Ltd by Bob Brown and the removal of pages from the Internet after direct requests to media bosses by Ms Gillard.  But what the crowd really wanted was an apology from Mr Albanese for his comments.  No apology was forthcoming.

Mr Albanese, flanked by security, addressed the rally and answered questions presented to him by Chris Johnson from CATA.  Mr Albanese answered the questions, however gave his support to the Gillard Government and said he fully supported the Government's position on the carbon tax. He also told the rally that there were more people at the Petersham Town Hall question and answer night last month than at the Marrickville protest.  These comments did nothing to endear him to the crowd, and his voice was drowned out by calls for a new election and for the Government to stop the carbon tax.  

Other speakers at the rally included the Victorian Liberal Federal Member for Indi, Sophie Mirabella.  Ms Mirabella said "Please maintain your right to a democratic say.  Please do not ever be intimidated, no matter how smarmy, how sarcastic any member of parlimanet is, no matter how exalted their position.  Never be intimidated.'

Malcolm Roberts from the Galileo Movement spoke to the crowd about the science and presented a two-page document to Mr Albanese for comment.  Anita Donlan drove all the way to Sydney from Bendigo Victoria, to address the rally.  Ms Donlan was MC at the Convoy rally in Canberra and was insulted by Mr Albanese's comments against decent, hardworking Australians who had travelled for days to be heard in Canberra.  

94 year old ex POW, Verdun Walsh, joined the protest because he was deeply offended and wanted his voice to be heard.  He carried a placard saying "I am 94 years of age, an ex POW, I am not incontinent, I am not of no consequence, I vote, save the Labor Party name, resign now Mr Albanese".  Other speakers included Norma Biggood, Angela Liati and Peter Madden from the Christian Democrats.

It is concerning that the media is reporting Mr Albanese was ‘jostled’ and abused at the rally.  This is not correct.  Mr Albanese was surrounded by security and the organisers confirm nothing physical occurred.  The mood of the crowd was angrier today than at previous rallies and after speaking to many people, it is evident that the people there were disgusted by the performance of the Government and very concerned about the damage they are doing to Australia.

A smaller pro carbon tax rally was organised by GetUp! to commence an hour before the rally, however crowd numbers were small - estimated at 25-50 people.  Mr Albanese told the GetUp! supporters that he was incredulous that 200 people thought they could change the mind of a Government.  

Mr Albanese was obviously walking on both sides of the fence today.

In other news today we look at the latest BBC hit-piece on the 9/11 truth movement and the government's failed refugee deal with Malaysia.
