Codex Alimentarius and food freedom
Tonight I have as my guest Michael Bending, director of the Health Freedom Alliance, a website and media resource dedicated to informing consumers and protecting our rights to food and health freedom.
During the show Michael breaks down the real agenda of the international food standards organisation known as "Codex Alimentarius".
The official Codex webpage provides the following description.
The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. The main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations.
In reality, Codex appears to be yet another arm of the globalist economic octopus - encroaching upon sovereign nations in order to control and restrict the free trade of commodities - and all at the expense of the average tax payer.
The Health Freedom Alliance website provides a wealth of information on this and many other health and diet related topics, including a petitions page which covers a variety of matters of public concern.
