Lizzie Phelan spent her last days in Libya - where she was reporting for PressTV - trapped in the Rixos Hotel, together with Thierry Meyssan, Mahdi Nazemroaya and two other members of the Voltaire Network team.
She said a Western-backed genocide is taking place in Libya and there are no independent journalists left on the ground to cover the story.

What bad things has Gaddafi actually done?, while trying to research this ive come across a glut of hundreds and hundreds of articles saying he was a dictator and a tyrant, but they never state why.
All I could find was that the Libyans liked him,and that everyone got income support,free university and free healthcare.And that recently he gave $500 million to African countires to establish their own satellite broadcasting,and he was moving towards creating a gold backed African dollar and thats why Nato got rid of him.
